Unfortunately, we found many mistakes in our last issue of the Birdwatcher. Although people do make mistakes, when we put a paper out to the public, we need to be more cognizant of our writing style, grammar, and spelling. What are three things YOU will do differently for this issue to ensure that it is correct?
Then, create a checklist of ten items we need to review prior to printing each issue.
Be mindful of spelling and grammar.

Welcome to your High School Journalism Class! This class is designed to have a steady, but not overwhelming time commitment and will be focused on preparing you to ask questions and write like a journalist today.
Below are links back to my wiki that have listed the classroom rules I have set forth and also my expectations. Take some time to click on both of the links and read through the rules and expectations. These rules, along with the 2009- 2010 Deuel High School Student Handbook will be the rationale for all decisions made within the classroom.
Classroom Rules
Classroom Expectations
Once you have read through the rules and expectations, please point out one rule that will be the easiest for you to follow and why. Conversely, please point out one rule that you may find challenge with and will need to work on during this school year.
This is a Writing to Win Assignment and to earn all points possible you must complete this before 4:00 p.m. today (as will be standard for all WTW assignments). Be mindful of spelling and grammar. Also, be sure to use at least 6 sentences to complete your thoughts about the Rules and Expectations for your English class.
